Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEW&S) is looking to hire a Database Analyst to administer databases and/or data management systems that allow for the secure storage, query, protection, and utilization of data. The Database Analyst also provides database development and maintenance for internal or website databases, and provides innovation in proof of concept possibilities.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Provide design, development and maintenance of custom databases and or Web sites using appropriate tools • Develop custom SharePoint sites and provide testing and sustainment of said site, as required. • Design, development, maintenance and documentation of organizational and operational sites, SharePoint sites and databases. • Maintenance, monitoring, and analysis of SharePoint sites. • Databases may be in Microsoft Access, Jira, Confluence, Oracle, SQL Server or other databases specified by Air Force operations. • Coordinate with external partners to ensure adequate system administration and infrastructure needs are met. • Provide day-to-day operations and administration of organization's and internal and external Web sites and databases. • Provide for migration to the latest version of SharePoint and database systems as directed. • Use appropriated programming languages associated with the database system being used such as Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Structured Query Language (SQL), SQLPlus or other databases specified by Air Force operations. • Act as a key contributor to innovation and build proof of concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future site releases. • Review Web sites for adherence to organization specifications and standards. Troubleshoot system-related problems, as needed. • Maintain databases and associated programs as necessary. • Train personnel on the use of databases and or SharePoint sites. • Provide SharePoint and/or database documentation when mission permits.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Level III preferred)
  • Experience with database management of Oracle and SQL servers; Administration of internal and external organization websites; and/or Design and implementation of data queries and tables.
  • The position requires TS/SCI, willing to comply with SAP requirements

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, SyBase, DB2, Informix, Access
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
