umbrella.Primary Responsibilities:
The Director of DataAnalytics is responsible for leading the data analytics department, anddirecting the management, development, and integration of data analytics andbusiness intelligence necessary to support business goals, vision, andobjectives.
Provides thoughtleadership and acts as a subject matter expert in the design and recommendationof appropriate analytical approaches and methodology in addressing key issueswithin the business.
Leads the technicaloperations and development organization responsible for the analysis andresults interpretation of large data sets.
Organizes andassembles the staffing, technology, processes, and financial resourcesnecessary to address the current and future analytics needs of the business.
Oversees theprovision of citizen data access, business intelligence and statistical toolstrategy, enterprise dashboards, data visualizations, and business and clinicaldecision aids.
Leads collaborationefforts with business analytics teams and plays a critical role in the supportof enterprise data governance.
Functions as liaisonbetween IT and business partners to help prioritize data reporting andanalytics requests, establish processes to support citizen reporting, andensure proper data access and security protocols
Works andcollaborates closely with the Director of Data Science, ensuring alignment ofstrategies within the data analytics department.
Oversees data andanalysis education for end users and report consumers.

Bachelor’s degree inInformatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics,Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field required (10 additionalyears of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience maybe substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)
5+ years ofexperience in management role in data analytics
3+ years ofexperience working in healthcare environment
Strong knowledge andunderstanding of data systems and current analytics technologies.
Experienceeffectively communicating and exercising sound judgment when makingrecommendations to members of the Senior Leadership Team.
