Information Assurance Specialist (JWICS-22-1068-W) Bowhead seeks an Information Assurance Specialist to provide support to the 690 Intelligence Support Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio. The IA Specialist will maintain network accreditation packages according to Defense Information Systems Agency and Air Force instructions, and will ensure all logical and physical accreditation package drawings are complete and up-to-date. Requirements Requirements: • Qualified as an IAM level I • In-depth knowledge in IA and computer security standards with 4 years of experience in the following disciplines: o Certification & Accreditation Cross Domain Solutions Requirements Validation Mission System Tracking Vulnerability Tracking o Incident Response Coordination IAAP Oversight/Inspections DoD 8570 Program Management Removable Media Control o Orders Tracking/Compliance Patch Management/Deployment EMSEC/TEMPEST • General knowledge of real-time services such as video teleconference systems and VoIP communication technology. • General knowledge and 4 years of experience of Microsoft client operating systems, applications and 3rd party software. • Basic knowledge of Government programs working within network rules and guidelines. • Experience with network management tools, network engineering principles, and network analysis. • Meet Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I training requirements, at a minimum, as specified in Department of Defense Directive (DoD) 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program. • Experience in writing official communications and reports. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret/SCI clearance at this location.
