LAN Administrator (JWICS-22-1072-W) Bowhead seeks a LAN Administrator to provide support to the 690 Intelligence Support Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio. The LAN Administrator will install, configure, update, and troubleshoot JBSA IT and network requirements under 690 ISS control, to include to the following: Hardware and firmware updates, encryption devices, data networks, network drops, and network devices such as switches, routers, VoSIP, and firewalls. Specific duties include: • Tracking all assigned work and workflow in Government designated software. • Performing monthly updates of network infrastructure and logical drawings in the Government approved versions drawing programs. • Resolving problems by identifying fix actions to customers by web interface, e-mail, phone, or by attempting a remote fix action. If physical access or replacement of equipment is required, Contractor personnel shall be dispatched to sites to resolve the problem. • Performing installation, documentation, and upgrades on the enterprise cable plant. • Operating and maintaining the Cisco based Call Manager cluster to include the adding and deleting of users, configuration of the call manager, and configuration of IP phones. Requirements Requirements: • Qualified as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with 4 years of experience. • Both Infrastructure and VoSIP qualified • Qualified as Net+ Certified Network Administrator on Cisco equipment with 4 years of networking experience. • Working knowledge in fiber optic cabling standards with 4 years of experience in cabling installation. • In-depth technical knowledge and 4 years of experience in the installation, configuration, documentation, operation and maintenance of Cisco network hardware with three (3) years of experience operating a Cisco based VoIP call manager and IP phones. • Working knowledge in fiber optic cabling standards with 4 years of experience in cabling installation. • In-depth technical knowledge and 4 years of experience in the installation, configuration, documentation, operation and maintenance of Cisco network hardware. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret/SCI clearance at this location.
