Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEW&S) is looking to hire a Penetration Tester to conduct assessments of threats and vulnerabilities; determine deviations from acceptable configurations, enterprise or local policy; assess the level of risk; and develop and/or recommend appropriate mitigation countermeasures in operational and nonoperational situations.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Conduct and/or support authorized penetration testing on enterprise network assets • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. • Measure the effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities. • Collaborate to identify access and collection gaps that can be satisfied through cyber collection and or preparation activities. • Leverage all authorized resources and analytic techniques to penetrate targeted networks. • Dynamically or statically analyze software applications to gain an understanding of the system, mission, and or application vulnerabilities and exploits. • Develop exploits for exposed vulnerabilities with a focus on non-interference of mission partner systems and networks. • Provide Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessment (CVPA) input • Provide system defense support for the Windows Operating System • Identify and mitigate UNIX or UNIX-based operational system vulnerabilities. • Implement Computer Network Defense (CND) infrastructure support • Identify and mitigate infrastructure vulnerabilities and persistent threats • Understand, detect, and emulate network infrastructure adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. • Identify web and web application-based vulnerabilities with a focus on computer security; system administration capabilities and detection of abuse or misuse. • The contractor shall identify database and database application-based vulnerabilities with a focus on computer security, system administration, and detection of abuse or misuse.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

Top Secret SCI eligible, willing to comply with SAP requirements, as required DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification Penetration testing experience, understanding of the RMF processes; knowledge of cybersecurity principles; knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols; experience with Pen Testing tools.
