- Evaluates business processes, gathers requirements, uncovers areas for improvement, and develops BI solutions.
- Provide assessment of solution options with associated business and technology impact, along with estimates for delivery.
- Identifies what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, identifying data quality gaps.
- Design and develop complex SQL queries. Perform UAT testing (ERP vs. Data Lake)
- Develop periodic reports and provide analytical support for Operations, Planners, Schedulers, and project teams
- Develops innovative and effective approaches to solve businesses analytics problems and communicates results and methodologies. Works in iterative processes with the business and validates findings. Develops systematic approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses.
- Drives collaboration between functions, stakeholders, project/program managers, and other IT teams to turn data into critical information that is congruent and reliable and can be used to make sound organizational decisions. What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, supply chain, or related field.
- Requires 2-5 years of experience building queries in SAP.
- Knowledgeable in SAP tables and different SAP modules, ideally SAP ecc or s4 hana
- Strong skills in data querying methodologies and languages (e.g., SQL)
- Experience with Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- The ability to come up with solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection over potentially large datasets.
- Experience leading projects.
- In-depth industry/business knowledge.
- 1-3 years materials management experience in a warehouse, purchasing, or logistics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding, and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others; easily accepts constructive input from others.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques, proficiency in the use of statistical packages (R, Python, SQL), and Statistical modeling (e.g., SAS) is a plus
- Experience in programming skills with Microsoft BI stack, such as Azure Analysis, SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), or other big data frameworks is a plus
- APICS training preferred
