Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Integrated Scheduling and Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, TX or Tukwila, WA.This position allows telecommuting and does not require applicants to live in San Antonio, Tx full time if you live in a location near one of our U.S. Boeing facilities: Huntsville AL, Heath OH, Ogden UT, Renton WA, Everett WA, Seal Beach CA, San Diego CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Mesa AZ, Plano TX, San Antonio TX, Oklahoma City OK, St. Louis MO, Ridley Park PA, Annapolis Junction MD, Fairfax, Herndon or Arlington VA, Washington DC, North Charleston SC, Titusville, FL and Ft. Walton Beach FL. Occasional travel will be required to support collaborative activities and critical events/meetings.Position Responsibilities:Leads the preparation, development and coordination of highly complex or difficult integrated plans and schedules to meet all business offers (e.g., acquisitions, proposals) and project/program execution objectives.

Provides high level analysis of product development initiatives for manufacturing, program and support organizations.

Oversees program planning requests for the development of new and derivative products.

Develops strategic plans for realigning work statement to support production requirements and meet company goals.

Provides recommendations to program leadership in regards to integrated planning and scheduling related issues.

Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners.

Facilitates multidisciplinary review of proposed changes to the baseline.

Negotiates and resolves issues.

Advises and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management best practices, processes, techniques and tools to management.

Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.

Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels.

Leads the integration and schedule impact analysis of highly complex and/or multiple schedule changes.

Recommends, deploys and monitors the application of configuration management disciplines at all levels.

Provides coaching, mentoring and leadership to lower level employees. Provides subject matter expertise in the development, implementation and training of processes and tools.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher

Experience with multi-function collaboration to develop and maintain the Program or Integrated Product team schedules

Experience developing and managing schedule networks

Experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP) and Microsoft Project

Experience in leading teams or projects to successful completion

Ability to work with cross-functional team to meet program and/or project requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with schedule compliance using schedule health metrics

Ability to understand technical requirements

Uses a logical approach to improve processes and solve problems

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Project Management Certification (ex. PMP) or have an understanding of PMBOK principles/relevant coursework

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to work under minimal direction

Experience working with supplier management and integrating supplier schedules.

Experience in working with test and evaluation planning and scheduling

Experience integrating supplier or partner plans and schedules into the Program schedule and managing the integrated Master Schedule at the Program level.
