Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to work in our San Antonio, TX location. The successful candidate will provide support across all the AFS Portfolio's Cloud engagements.

AFS is seeking an outsourcing, preferably cloud, experienced Service Delivery Manager ready to advance their career in the latest delivery processes for Cloud Development & Operation Services. The Service Delivery Manager has the overall responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day cloud application development and operations management over the life of our AFS - Client outsourcing partnership.

As the Service Delivery Manager, you will support account teams in the pursuit of organic growth opportunities, perform and support transition activities and be responsible for managing ongoing steady state support, enhancements and new development, for monitoring the SLA activity of AFS's delivery teams and implementing corrective measures, when required, for actively participating in regular client IT staff meetings and in Operational meetings between client and AFS, for managing issues & risks, client and team satisfaction, and budget and profitability across the portfolio. You will be required to apply AFS quality methodologies across client engagements, to retain top performing staff and effectively plan succession and rotations, and to actively participate in transition activities.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and will have prior experience preparing formal reports and presenting them to Senior IT Management (both external and internal client's). The candidate seeks to be a part of a practice that constantly aims to lead the industry in cloud practices and therefore proactively participates in continuous improvement planning.

Additionally, the Service Delivery Manager will be joining a highly integrated team of self-motivators to achieve the common goal of building an extremely successful and results-driven Cloud Service Delivery practice. It is important the candidate shares the mission and purpose to deliver the highest client satisfaction in every facet of the job.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A four-year bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field of study or 5-7 years of experience in IT with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in an IT management position, preferably in the Cloud
  • Previous operations experience with demonstrated abilities to lead a medium to large infrastructure or application development teams
  • Performance management experience delivering to Service Level Agreements in a complex IT environment and understanding contractual obligations, risks and impacts
  • Experience in delivering services to geographically dispersed stakeholders
  • Experience in providing delivery oversight and motivational leadership for teams of more than 10 members
  • Familiarity and competence in delivery through all phases of the System Development Lifecycle
  • Experience in implementation and improvement of IT processes.
  • Demonstrated financial management abilities for multimillion-dollar scope of work
  • Strong communications and collaboration skills
  • Experience delivering IT services in an enterprise delivery model
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to organize information
  • Precise and takes care to produce quality work.
  • Adept at negotiating and resolving conflicts in a sensitive work context
  • Able to make informed decisions based on the factors involved
  • Able to communicate at an executive level with the various technical and business stakeholders
  • Able to create synergy within a group of individuals to reach the team's, organization's, and ultimately client's objectives
