Continued employment in this position is contingent upon availability of funding and satisfactory performance.Essential Duties:

Recommend procedures for software development 5%

Identify information needs and requirements 10%

Identify system requirements 10%

Review, modify, and write program code and documentation 50%

Distribute and/or install custom software 5%

Provide technical support to users 15%

Other duties as assigned 5%

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. (One year of related, full-time experience is considered equal to 30 accredited semester credit hours.)

Two years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in software applications development, web programming, data modeling, and database design, population, and maintenance.

Experience with ArcGIS software programming, Azure-based programming, and Oracle or SQL/Server integration.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting, client relations, formulating and contributing ideas, and knowledge of the Information Technology Interface Library (ITIL).

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to uphold stress of traveling.

Ability to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, printer or copy machine, and office supply cabinet, etc.

Ability to perform common office functions (sitting, standing, traverse staircases, open doors, use elevators).

Ability to frequently communicate with other individuals within the workplace.

Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (calculator, copy machine, and computer printer, etc.).
