If so, we would like to hear from you.As part of the Microsoft Global Employee and Executive Communications community, you’ll join a group of professionals focused on creating communications and experiences to keep employees informed, engaged and proud to be at Microsoft.In this role, the priority is to focus on leading communications for the company’s talent management work. This includes employee development/career, mentoring, talent architecture, and more. In addition, you’ll partner with other team members supporting CEO Communications, Global Employee & Exec Comms (GEEC) data and insights and additional HR programs. The scope includes responsibilities for strategic communications planning, writing, executive coaching, analytical storytelling, and content development across a broad spectrum of communications activities (e.g., written communications, HR programs, events, and more).This role will orchestrate many stakeholders for regular core deliverables and requires an individual who is a great team player, a self-starter and is experienced at creating and delivering communications content, including written, visual and video media production. You will partner with people across Communications, Legal, HR and Executive Communications to create plans and develop communications and experiences.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Work with the Talent, Learning and Insights leadership team on communications strategy for Microsoft’s talent management programs. Programs may include employee. development/career, mentoring, new employee orientation, first year learning and more.

Provide strategic comms counsel and guidance to internal HR client stakeholders.

Lead the development of high-level communications, such as narratives and messaging frameworks, as well as program launch communications, partnering with vendors and agency resources as needed.

Partner with HR Comms team on planning of HR communications calendar and key milestones.

Ensure that the Global Employee and Executive Communications Community leads are aware of talent management programs and empowered to support program rollouts and desired outcomes.

Work with Director of Global Employee and Executive Communications as well as the OCEO to help plan and execute CEOs internal communications activities, including his monthly Employee Town Hall program.

Partner with GEEC PM on HR Data and Insights and reporting on TLI comms activities.

Use the latest technologies and tooling for building effective storytelling content and continually identify areas to improve processes.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field. Related work experience may be substituted for education.

5-7 years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across organizational boundaries.

Strong writing and editing skills, from narratives to messaging frameworks to email campaigns.

Ability to work effectively with multiple business partners, including cross-group teams, virtual and global teams, vendors and agency partners.

Proven track record for new, innovative approaches and smart risk taking.

Current knowledge of digital communications techniques and employee engagement

Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines in a fast-changing environment

Organizational agility and cross-group collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with key constituencies Microsoft to include HR, PR, Corporate Communications, CELA, Marketing, and more.
