job summary:
We have a long term contract need for a Sr. Network Engineer in San Antonio, TX. This is a 12 month contract assignment with the potential to extend further.If you meet the background/ qualifications below we'd love to speak with you.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study and minimum 5 years IT Experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server Engineer- MS 2016 and above
- Can support Active Directory and Exchange when needed or the aptitude to learn and be cross trained
- 5 or more years' experience in a technically diverse support environment;
- 5 or more years' experience supporting three or more of the following technical disciplines: PRIMARY: network storage, cisco networking, security, telephony; Secondary skills: server level system administration. virtual environments; SQL,
- Experience working with 3rd party vendor support.
- CCNP and/ or CCIE
- Broad knowledge of Information Technology environments, support and technologies.
- Extensive (Tier III Level) knowledge of at least 2 technologies including: server, network, storage, backup, essential systems and security
- PC skill to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Ability to effectively communicate technical knowledge and expertise to other professionals, regulators and credit union staff.
- Outstanding track record of delivering technical support that meets business and member needs/expectations.
