Windows System Administrator (JWICS-22-1070-W) Bowhead seeks a Windows System Administrator to provide support to the 690 Intelligence Support Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio. The Windows System Administrator will install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with servers, workstations, patches, and applications of current and future product enhancements in a physical and virtual environment, such as Windows and UNIX Operating Systems (OS), Storage Area Networks (SANs), and other technologies. Specific duties include: • Supporting all aspects of network service management to include user support, performance management, account management, security management, and fault management in accordance with all applicable guidance • Tracking all assigned work and workflow in Government designated software • Supporting the development of project Visio drawing software required by various projects • Providing monthly "on the job" server training to Government personnel. Requirements Requirements: • Certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) with 4 years of experience or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP). • Microsoft Certified System Administrators (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP) with 6 years of experience. • In-depth technical knowledge and 4 years of experience in the installation, configuration, documentation, operation and of Microsoft operating systems, applications and 3rd party software. • In-depth technical knowledge and 2 years of experience on all other Microsoft operating systems, applications and 3rd party software. • In-depth knowledge and 4 years of experience integrating multiple vendor software and operating systems into Microsoft OS environment (UNIX to WIN). • In-depth knowledge, training and 4 years of experience on Microsoft Cluster Servers, cluster configuration using SAN environment, cluster management software and Microsoft Cluster Server software. • Basic knowledge of government programs working within JWICS network rules and guidelines. • Experience with network management tools, network engineering principles, network analysis and a thorough understanding of Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) configurations and data collection. • Completed SAN Management Training and Dell SAN Data Protection Training course. If courses are not completed prior to start date, complete courses within 90 days after contract start date. When individual is in training, there will be no cost to the government. • Completed the NetIQ AppManager Essentials course. If courses are not completed prior to start date, complete courses within 90 days after contract start date. When individual is in training, there will be no cost to the government. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret/SCI clearance at this location.
