We seek a Training and Curriculum Developer in support of the Department of Defense (DOD) Public Web Program, managed by the Defense Media Activity (DMA). This full-time, onsite position will be located at our office in San Antonio, Texas, 78249. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.The Training and Curriculum Developer?s primary responsibility is creating and updating training materials, such as written manuals, online documentation and videos/presentations, to support the user base of a DotNetNuke-driven content management system (CMS) tailored specifically to DOD?s requirements.The Training and Curriculum Developer is also held accountable for working with DOD?s military and civilian stakeholders to set up new and pre-existing sites in the CMS.The Training and Curriculum Developer thrives in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, exercises good judgment and supports the Public Affairs goals and strategies of the Department of Defense. Outstanding Web knowledge is a must. Training experience is a must. Learning management system (LMS) experience is a must, including such LMS's as Accord, Blackboard, or Moodle. CMS experience is a must. Three to five years working in a customer-facing training position will make you a perfect candidate for this position. Any previous experience with the DotNetNuke platform is a plus.An active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is required for this position. Duties and Responsibilities:

Write, edit, and maintain training products: Web pages, manuals, documents, and interactive training modules.

Assist with the continual improvement of training curriculum and program management.

Communicate with customers to assess needs, provide information and assistance, resolve problems, or satisfy expectations.

Provide hands-on training to new and existing customers.

Participate in requirements gathering, project management and innovative-solution development.

Required Skills

US citizenship and either an active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Associate degree or higher.

Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Previous experience with content management systems.

Previous experience with learning management systems.

Superb command of the English language, both verbal and written.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective relationships.

Excellent organization skills, attention to details and follow-through skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and activities independently, and work in a team environment with moderate supervision.

Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Helpful Skills:

Technical Writing experience a plus.

Any previous experience with DotNetNuke, Accord LMS and other CMS, LMS, or KMS.

Prior military experience.

Prior experience in Public Affairs, Broadcast, Graphic Design, or Curriculum Development career fields.
