SMR Security Services is seeking Armed/Commissioned Security Guards to become an integral part of our team.
The selected individuals will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. FULL TIME schedules available. WE DO NOT ACCEPT IN PERSON APPICATIONS ON FRIDAYS!
Responsibilities:
Use handheld metal detector on all patrons entering the facility
Use handheld counter/clicker to ensure facility does not go over building capacity.
Guard money drops at end of each shift.
Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, and infractions of rules
Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
Report any facility issues.
Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
Tentative start date April 6, 2025.
​Qualifications:
1+ years of Level III/ Commissioned experience (REQUIRED)
Active/Current Level 3-Armed Texas Security License
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to walk/stand for extended hours.
Must be able to work WEEKENDS AND WEEKDAYS
