Job Description:As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing initial response and support to information technology users who contact the Help Desk regarding incidents and new service requests. Responsibilities will include dispatching, alerting, or escalating issues to technical staff or vendors to provide support to users whose problems cannot be resolved over the telephone; providing administrative support for the management of miscellaneous automation projects, as required; and assigning new service requests to the proper information technology departments. The candidate will provide help and solutions, where possible, to individuals calling the Help Desk with automations and telecommunication problems. This candidate will support over 200 applications. Troux and a Sharepoint site is used for application information and Service Desk resources.Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Experience with Avaya phone system and Avaya phones with Avaya Automated Call Distribution to distribute call to the agents.
  • Experience with print manager for Instant Issue Debit card print management and HP printing.
  • Experience with Active Directory for password resets
