Your Role:

The Vice President reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and shares administrative authority and responsibility for the practice of nursing and supports the mission, vision and values of MHS.

This position is responsible for aligning multiple clinical departments within hospital in a common mission while fostering interdepartmental collaboration in the development of high quality, cost effective and integrated programs across the full continuum of care.

Areas of responsibility include: productivity, regulatory compliance, assistance with performance improvement and service excellence initiatives and managerial staff development.

Education: All of the following:

Masters Degree in Nursing or related field

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Note: Current MHS employees in the VP of Nursing position have until 1/1/2014 to meet education requirements.

Experience:

Five years of progressive healthcare/hospital management experience required.

Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable). Preferred:

Vice President level experience Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:
