Howdy folks! Grande Communications, your local phone, Internet and cable TV service provider, is on the hunt for some great Customer Service Professionals in our San Marcos, Texas location! What will I be doing?

This position is responsible for answering incoming calls related to: customer billing statements; resolution of payment concerns; troubleshooting & problem resolution of cable, internet and phone services; selling of new service; and general inquiries. This role will work to resolve technical issues over the phone and set up agreed upon service calls only as necessary. This position also promotes products and services to meet customer needs.

How much will I earn?

We start folks out at $12.50-$14.50/hour depending on skills/experience;

You are eligible for commission (in addition to your hourly rate) upon graduation from the 10-week paid training course - average commissions are between $1-2/hour additionally; NO QUOTA on sales, just as opportunities arise!

Grande is looking for folks with:

- High school diploma or equivalent;

- One to two years of experience within a customer service high-volume call center. Prior telemarketing, trouble shooting and/or retail sales a plus;

- Enthusiastic, upbeat customer-focused attitude with the ability to listen to and empathize with the customer. Focus on maintaining and retaining satisfied and happy Grande customers;

- Basic working knowledge of cable TV, Internet and phone services;

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required;

- Ability to work in a fast paced, often changing environment.
