Mechanical Assembler

Description:Mechanical assembly of electro-mechanical parts.Summary: Assembly of mechanical housings, systems and hardware for both stand-alone products and products containing printed circuit board assemblies. Primary work is conducted while standing utilizing hand tools (powered and manual), machinery or applicable materials.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Adhere to all requirements and Board Handling. Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on the components’ moisture sensitive levels (MSL). Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings and work instruction processes. Identify hardware, wire assemblies, sheet metal and plastic components. Work with miniature to large components that may require visual magnification. Integrate electronic assemblies and cables into mechanical housings. Use various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches and screwdrivers).Additional Skills & Qualifications:6-12 months of production experience preferredComputer proficiency a plusMechanically inclinedWillingness to learnAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
