Camp Young Judaea Retreat Center is looking for a professional housekeeper that can attend to our facilities with integrity, attention to detail, and with a customer service mindset. The perfect candidate will have the ability to perform a variety of housekeeping duties including (but not limited to) vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, changing and laundering linens. This position requires a person who is punctual, thorough and has an eagerness to advance and perform at a high level while being able to adapt.

Responsibilities
Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies and ensure safe and sanitary storage and care
Follow and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of all floor surfaces as needed and directed.
Disposes of all trash from bins and containers throughout the property. Disposes of trash on grounds as needed or directed.
Dusts and polishes all furniture and room accessories as needed or directed.
Scrubs sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets in both private and public bathrooms.
Changes, launders and folds all linens as needed or directed.
Washes and folds all camper clothing and linens as needed or directed.
Cleans windows, glass surfaces, mirrors and counters as needed or directed.
Always maintains all public places.
Fulfill all guest requests cheerfully and with urgency, and deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits or disturbances.
Check stocking levels of all soaps, detergents, supplies, etc.
Qualities needed for success:
Proven experience as a housekeeper.
Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining high level of performance.
Pays attention to details while working.
Organized and can follow procedures and schedules.
Customer oriented and friendly.
Has prioritization and time management skills.
Can work quickly without compromising quality.
Has the ability to speak some English and can follow verbal and written directions.
Has a High school diploma.
Able to lift 25-30 pounds and can reach, stretch, bend and walk during daily routine with the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
