We are currently taking applications for Direct Care Staff, full time, days, to work with emotionally troubled boys in an outdoor residential setting in Driftwood, TX. This work involves supervising and providing guidance for at-risk youth in a structured, supportive role.
We are looking for responsible, accountable, mature role models for the boys. The team members selected must be able to effectively communicate with the boys, other team members, volunteers, and the community. May have additional duties assigned based on need and skill.
Insurance and vacation benefits available for full time employees after 90 days.
Wage review after successful 90 day probation.
Full time employees must be available to work any day of the week INCLUDING WEEKENDS. Full time consists of three 14-hour shifts per week (that is 40 hours plus 2 overtime hours each week), leaving 4 days off per week!
Must be 21 or older with TX driver's license and be a HS graduate.
Must be able to pass background checks, drug screen, TB test.
Must have the capability and strength to be able to control an average sized teen.
This will be the hardest job you'll ever love.
