The HT Group is currently hiring for an HR Generalist role located in the Ceedmoor/Buda, TX area.The HR Generalist is responsible for providing human resource guidance to all levels of management and employees. This position will assist with developing and implementing HR programs to support professional development, job analysis, compensation, training and compliance. This position will also handle all aspects related to worker?s compensation and will be responsible for writing job descriptions to be provided to the recruiting team.Responsibilities of the HR Generalist may include, but are not limited to, the following:Conducting regular follow-ups with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting and retention plans and providing input on implementation strategyMaintaining and updating the applicant tracking module and the company?s careers websiteMaintaining all selection records and ensuring that the company remains compliant with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity CommissionManaging worker?s compensation claims and ensuring company compliance with federal and state lawsAdministering, reviewing and managing employee benefit programsMediating between benefits providers and employeesManaging the employee leave programConducting Needs Assessments, developing curriculum and conducting training sessions on various HR-related topicsDeveloping and maintaining the job analysis program to improve hiring process and retentionParticipating and assisting with development of job descriptions, analyzing departmental and company-wide strategyManaging audits of data, files and business documents, and developing action plan(s) to resolve findingsDesign systems in collaboration with vendors and deliver implementationCollaborate with the Safety Department to ensure compliance with federal and state lawsDevelop and maintain procedures and paperwork for documenting and tracking personnel transactions ? i.e. payroll changes, job changes, new hires, separations, etc.Requirements of the HR Generalist:Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervisionAbility to travel overnight outside of standard business hoursAbility to work extended periods outside of standard business hours on occasionAbility to work well with internal and external customers at all levels of the companyExcellent interviewing skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityIntermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite ? i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and HRIS systemsBachelor?s degree and 4 years equivalent experience working in an HR environment or the equivalent in education and experienceWorking knowledge of company HR policies and procedures and state and federal employment lawsPreferred Qualifications of the HR Generalist:Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish proficientlyPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
