Job Summary
Freedom Terminal Services has an opening for an off-load operator for our site in Buda, TX. You will be responsible for off-loading unit trains of ethanol. This is a full time position with benefits. At the current time your work schedule will depend on when unit trains arrive to be off loaded.
Responsibilities and Duties
Individuals will be responsible to off load rail cars of ethanol, site cleanup and maintenance, and all other duties assigned by the supervisor. As these trains come in operators are required to remove bottom outlet caps on the rail cars, hooking up hoses, opening valves, and checking cars as they off- load. Operators will also be responsible for unhooking hoses and resealing cars upon completion.
Qualifications and Skills
Individual must be able to work outside in all condition. Able to squat, kneel, climb ladders, walk, and stand for long periods of time. Individuals must have a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required, schedules revolve around arrival of unit trains. Individuals must be dependable and on time.
