Mechanical Assembler

JOB SUMMARY:Assembly of structural and mechanical components which comprise the company's primary products, Air Treatment UnitsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Layout and construct various product assemblies with supervision by Line & Crew Leaders, according to blueprints or specifications, using tools and equipment such as:o Hand tools such as pneumatic ergo pulse screw guns, pneumatic or battery operated screwdrivers, drills, reciprocating saws, jig saws, caulking guns, other commonhand tools and measuring instrumentso Use of machine tools such as drill presses, vertical andhorizontal band saws, circular saws, pipe cutters/threaders,reciprocating saws, metal shears, press breaks, arc welders,etc.o Adhesives, sealants, paints, fiberglass insulation, gaskets,and other materials.Read and follow assembly specifications, bills of material and drawing sets, and identify discrepanciesPerform assembly work in a safe and efficient manner, while insuring the work area is clean and orderly throughout the process.Work in other areas of the shop as may be required.About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
