Position will directly support the Vice President of North America and will be an instrumental part of the strategic planning and commercial negotiations for Travel Network’s North American agency customers.Position ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and analysis for the division: (50%)Work with leadership team and central planning function to develop annual plan designed to achieve company’s goals.Provides financial analyses, long-range forecasting and detailed reporting associated with potential sales opportunities.Lead monthly close process including incentive accruals and variance analysis.Develop streamlined reporting capabilities to drive rigorous cost monitoring and controls to ensure profitability of the divisionSupport critical recurring and ad-hoc commercial reporting and analysis to drive the business: (30%)Analyze internal / external information using data manipulation, correlation and statistical analysis to develop transaction projection models designed at providing leading indicators. Support leadership with financial analysis and modelling as needed to support target achievement.Execute specialized customer analysis to support increased market penetration and share of customer wallet.Support all Strategic Projects related to Travel Network North America.Support commercial deal review process: (20%)Serve as the primary point person for all agency deals.Responsible for assisting sales directors with evaluating trends and analysis of market conditions and opportunity valuation.Develops pricing models to provide customized proposals for agencies which align with Travel Network strategy, billing requirements, and legal and contract maintenance.Support the evolution of the deal review process by improving modeling efficiency and driving improvements to the quality of the deals approved.The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing.
