As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems specific to our production accounting team. You will lead projects and function as the primary support for the group.To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience working with Production Accounting Systems in the Oil and Gas industry, such as Enertia, ProCount, Enterprise Upstream, Quorum, etc.
- Lead mid-sized projects.
- Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing the logical operational steps of programs.
- Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
- Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
- Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS (preferred)
- Preferred minor degree in accounting (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of Systems Analysis experience
- Experience with Production Accounting and Field Data Capture applications and systems.
- Experience with upstream oil and gas Production Accounting software such as Enertia, ProCount, Enterprise Upstream, Quorum, etc.
- Experience working with data from oil and gas SCADA software such as CygNet, Ignition, eLynx, etc.
- Experience querying and developing Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience integrating data using application APIs and loaders.
