The “Tech Transformation” reimagines the employee and client experience from a technical standpoint and enables best in class processes and corresponding outcomes. The Tech Transformation enables maturity of the current shared services environment.This position will primarily be responsible for leading the Record to Report business process design in partnership with the Executive Journey Lead, the Continuous Improvement team, the Enterprise’s vast group of cross-functional process stakeholders and executives, and the project management office. The Sr. Manager will also partner with internal and third-party technical resources, project leaders and strategy advisors to ensure transformation powering technology is implemented to enable the desired end state. To ensure the most comprehensive design and accurate execution, this Finance Transformation Sr. Manager role serves as the central party to connect end to end process elements and people together.The Finance Transformation Sr. Manager will serve in the following primary functions:

Design and ensure implementation of enterprise E2E best in class processes to achieve the strategic objectives of the ELEVATE strategy and corresponding technology transformation.

Ensure adoption of transformed processes and technology through change strategies and deployment methods.

Lead the cross-functional teams for R2R and other E2E workstreams, including all functional program components. Team includes Finance Transformation Analysts, continuous improvement resources, project managers, business stakeholders, and tech resources; will also include external resources for certain functions. Team lead serves as thought partner to the journey lead and ensures project and workstream resources work fluidly together across the E2E journey.

Job Responsibilities:

Partner with the Continuous Improvement/Process Improvement team to ensure comprehensive, end to end current state processes are:

Identified and documented

Measured for baseline performance

Analyzed for gaps to best practices

Prioritized for addressing within continuous improvement activities and through the broader tech transformation program.

Participate in future state operating model design – including processes, organizational design, and various types of technology needed to enable transformation.

Ensure E2E future state design is comprehensive, designed using best practices, and that the process steps are properly interconnected through various system platforms used throughout the process. Gather best practice information from partners, stakeholders, and external parties such as practitioners, advisors, technical teams, and others.

Partner with Journey Lead and engage cross-functional teams to design the E2E desired end-state; examples of partners include but not limited to:

Manage team members from the Finance Transformation team – Finance Transformation Analyst

Project – Project Management Office, Continuous Improvement/Process Improvement team, Technology team, Transformation Office, System Integrator, Technology/Software Companies, etc.

Stakeholders – Industry Group leaders (and their teams), Procurement, Accounting, Sales, Suppliers, Customers, and others reliant on the process.

Ensure drivers for transformation business case(s) are sound and feasible.

Ensure consistency in key design elements such as security models across variety of software packages used in E2E process, naming conventions, use of master data, process control frameworks, process ownership frameworks, etc.

Ensure change adoption plan is robust and designed with the end user in mind; engage with broader user base to test validity of the change program; coordinate and influence alignment of cross-functional stakeholders with varying perspectives; advise on the change strategy and design of the change management activities.

Perform continuous evaluation of process health once implemented. Work with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and design solutions accordingly.

Partner with project management office to define project plans to manage scope, schedule, and cost.

Prioritize competing tasks to maintain project momentum and mitigate risks.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business related field

Comprehensive understanding of the process elements and respective stakeholders

Ability to seek out and design processes based on strategic objectives, breaking elements down into manageable components

Experience with transforming process outcomes

Experience with documenting processes flows

Experience with coordinating cross-functional leaders with varying perspectives, to achieve a common goal

10 years of relevant experience related to complex business processes

5 years of relevant experience in Record to Retire accounting process

Ability to influence up, down and across (internally and externally)

Workflow / project management experience

Strong work ethic

Strong ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time of self and others

Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong willingness to learn new skills and share knowledge

Experience working in a shared service environment
