Assembly Specialist - Mechanical Assembler| CommercialKelly Services currently has 1 opening at one of our top clients in Sugarland, TX!PAY RATE: $20 Hourly based on experienceSHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pmASSIGNMENT: Temporary 6 MONTHJOB DESCRIPTION:Assembly of wireline tools and electro-mechanical assemblies for oilfield exploration and field development.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Possess excellent soldering and crimping abilities.
Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, procedures and follow written and oral instructions.
Accurately assemble oilfield exploration tools and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Identify components and use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, operate assembly equipment and tools, dimension mechanical parts and assemblies.
Test assembled tools and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with products and assemblies.
Create labor records for all transactions and document records of work performed.
Accurately test and troubleshoot all products following detailed technical documents.
Initiate action and communicate with manufacturing support personnel.
Train other assemblers in proper operating methods and procedures.
ESD protection principles.
QUALIFICATIONS:t
High school diploma or equivalent.t
Vocational or trade school preferred.t
8 years of experience in electrical AND/OR mechanical assembly and test environment.t
May be required to lift items of up to 25 lbs.t
Must be able to distinguish and identify colors (wiring skillset).
