FINANCIAL ANALYST II, Community Development

Perform intermediate professional-level tasks to oversee financial reporting and expenses versus budgeted amounts for assigned work unit.Specifically, perform all of the financial related duties for federally-funded programs and monitor sub-recipients (in-house and on-site) for both compliance and financial audits, including processing payables, draw requests, monthly financial status reports, and general ledger reconciliations.Posting may close at any time.Tarrant County employees enjoy superior health and insurance benefits.For more information, please click on the link below:http://www.tarrantcounty.com/en/human-resources/employee-benefits.htmlEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

May assist in preparing annual and revised budgets and submitting them for approval

Assists in the financial administration of all grant funds administered by the department

Monitors all grant funds administered by the department

Maintains and reviews financial records of expenditures and receipts

Complies with federal reporting requirements

Reconciles GL and other accounts

Produces required weekly, monthly and/or annual reports

Performs departmental related administrative functions

Performs special projects under specific direction of management

Performs outside monitoring of sub-recipients as required

Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the division as assigned or required

Minimum Requirements:
