This position is for Pactiv, a company of Reynolds Group Holding Inc. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Operator Specialist is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of two thermoformers producing quality products at rate with proper manning. Read, understand, and follow the production schedule, perform all checks to ensure the line conditions are within specifications, perform required equipment adjustments, repairs, and assist mechanics to ensure the line is in good operating conditionrecord. Record hour by hour information accurately and timely. Complete required attribute checks, and QAS inspections according to the SOP. Support plant food product safety management programs, initiatives and objectives. Relieve team members for breaks, and maintain housekeeping in assigned area. Demonstrate good team work and communicate skills as well as assist new hires in the development of skills. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Applicants: On your Job Opportunity Form, provide specific information about meeting the qualifications.●Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.●Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.●Completes appropriate paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities.●Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects.●Observes all housekeeping, standard work, food safety, and personal safety guidelines.●Support maintenance team and department during line change over and start-ups●Train and develop area packers and operator associates within the work areaCertifications/License:●Operator Specialist certification in Foams Department●Lock out Tag out certifiedPactiv LLC is the leading manufacturer of food and beverage packaging solutions in North America and beyond.
