Wilson, Division Director. The candidate is to be a key physician at Memorial Hermann Hospital – Southeast, as we expand the UTHealth footprint and surgical skills in the Houston metropolitan area. The candidate is expected to actively participate in the teaching and academic activities of the Department of Surgery by working with residents and fellows and in student education. This will include patient rounds, presentations and lectures and attendance at appropriate conferences.Qualifications:Applicants must have a medical degree and be board certified in general surgery. Applicants must be eligible for full medical licensure in the state of Texas.The successful candidate will participate in a large, active academic practice, provide resident teaching, medical student teaching and participate in local and national conferences.
