The position is available in the Epidemiology, Human Genetics and Environmental Sciences department at UTHealth School of Public Health.Position Key Accountabilities:Responsibilities will include conducting externally funded research, teaching graduate-level courses within the epidemiology core curriculum, directing graduate student research, and developing collaborations across campuses, departments, communities, and academic institutions.Qualifications:

An earned doctoral degree in epidemiology or related disciplines in research design and quantitative methods

Graduate level teaching and research emphasis experience in behavioral or clinical epidemiology related to physical activity

A track record of research publications commensurate with academic rank and demonstrating potential for securing external funding

Experience with conducting research in community settings

Ideal candidates will have a broad understanding of physiology of exercise, physical activity epidemiology and related methodologies, including assessment techniques, study designs, data reduction and management, and analytic approaches.Please attach a letter describing qualifications and interests, curriculum vita, and contact information for three professional references to the web application.
