We are looking for a Commercial driver for our Portable Sanitation Toilet Company. This position is located in Pilot Point, TX. The current position is full-time with 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime. We are a young company looking for an individual that wants tremendous growth potential and opportunity as we grow. This position mandates the chosen individual to be punctual and on-time and be able to keep a tight schedule and meet deadlines/time constraints. This individual must be a self motivated individual as supervisor oversight is limited.
Position Summary: Small and locally owned portable toilet sanitation service company is looking for a self-motivated, hard-working and personable individual to join our growing team. This person will drive our commercial vehicle daily to dispose of our waste in Fort Worth and drive a water route, filling water tanks located around the Dallas area and/or delivery route to supplement in order to achieve a full days employment. If you like interacting with a variety of personalities and providing top notch customer service, this could be the perfect position for you. Duties in this position include but are not limited to:
Effective communication with the customer and our operations staff (including your direct supervisor and/or the office staff) is imperative to ensure your ability to provide excellent service in the field.
Ability to think on the spot and help resolve any issues that may arise in a positive, friendly and professional manner.
Ability to load and unload trucks without a forklift, lifting 50 lbs -
Responsible for daily truck inspections and to report needed repairs/service for maintenance of truck and all other equipment in a clean and professional manner.
Complete daily reports and delivery paperwork as required by us.
Ability to use good judgment and think independently, while maintaining an aptitude for being safe in your work environment.
Ability to use electronics to assist in your daily route schedule.
Must have and poses a clean valid TX Commercial Class A driver's license with a tankers endorsement. This is very important - you will need to provide proof of this prior to employment.
Be mechanically inclined in order to make misc. repairs to rental equipment as requested and needed.
Not just a Driver position , this position includes labor in order to preform overall job duties required as outlined.
Hours: Monday Friday 5:00am 4:00pm as scheduled. Some weekends are possible.
Other duties may included:
-Read and understand route sheet directions, road maps, map books and other written or spoken directions.
-Navigation throughout the Dallas area via Ipad map and route software a must.
-Safely drive and operate a Commercial vehicle truck and trailer.
-Ability to backup trailers in tow - this is very important and a must.
-Ability to tow a trailer and operate PTO’s.
-Must hold class A driver's license with clean driving record and a tanker’s endorsement.
-Must be able to work some weekends - we do not work very many Sundays (if any).
-Must work safely and carefully to prevent injury to self and others while driving, servicing, loading and unloading.
-Must be able to pass a pre-employment commercial vehicle drug screen.
-Must be able to drive a standard transmission 13 speed truck and pass a proficiency driving test.
