GRAPHIC AND DATA PROGRAMMER

Location: The Woodlands, TXType: PermanentThe Graphics and Data Programmer will be responsible for developing key rendering systems and technologies for the next generation of server-based graphics. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in developing high performance graphics projects on proprietary software on modern hardware; have a strong history of getting things done in a timely and practical manner with minimal supervision; have high standards when it comes to project quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, implement, optimize, and support high performance multiplatform rendering systems and technologies
  • Work closely with content creators to improve workflow as needed
  • Evaluate, integrate, and enhance third-party tools and technologies, tailoring the provided functionality to meet the needs of the product
  • Identify possible pitfalls and provide practical alternatives/solutions

Essential Skills:Proven experience in developing high performance graphics engines on modern hardwareExperience using Microsoft .Net technologies and Microsoft Visual Studio development languages (C#, VB, etc.)Experience on markup languages (e.g. HTML, XHTML and XML style sheet languages (CSS and XSL) client side scripting (JavaScript), server-side delivery mechanisms (TSS, XML); database and object serializationStrong 3D math skills and exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to accurately and realistically schedule tasks and complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion with a high degree of qualitySelf starter that is able to work independentlyStrong customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic and capability of working flexible work hours (as necessary)

Additional Skills:Sports background is a plus with knowledge of sport scoring rulesExperience with graphics formats such as TIFF, PNG, etc.
