Responsible for performing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, onboarding members, renewing certificate accounts, assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account problems, and perform a variety of account maintenance. Assumes responsibility for interviewing, preparing loan applications, submitting complete application, processing, and funding consumer loans. Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, money orders, and cash advances.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Assumes responsibility for the professional and effective performance of assisting potential and current members with their credit union business while keeping with all core and cultural values.

a. Demonstrate personal member experience by developing relationships to cross sell by presenting and explaining credit union products and services to meet their financial needs. Some duties include; opening and closing accounts, renew and update certificate accounts, maintain IRA accounts, rental of safe deposit boxes, order checks and/or debit cards, referrals to Retirement Investment Services and/or Mortgage Department, complete payroll deduction and authorization forms.b. Demonstrates personal member experience by answering questions and solving problems for members by listening to problems, collecting data, securing answers, and reporting results. Performing file maintenance and account changes as needed. Process stop payments.c. Demonstrate personal member experience by performing efficient, effective and accurate teller functions. Receives deposits and loan payments. Processes cash advances, official checks money orders, wires, and western union request. Disburses cash and check withdrawals. Verifies transactions. Monitors deposit amounts and examines documents for endorsement and negotiability. Detects and resolved discrepancies promptly. Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals. Investigates and resolves out of balance conditions.d. Demonstrate legal and ethical behavior by ensuring services are provided in accordance with established credit union policies and are legally compliant. Ensures service requests are properly documented. e. Demonstrates commitment to excellence when preparing miscellaneous documents and reports and maintaining related records.

Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of loan interviews, applications, processing funding, and clerical support functions while keeping with all core and cultural values.

a. Demonstrates personal member experience when interviewing and assisting members with applications for loans.b. Demonstrates commitment to excellence when calculating terms, finance charges, insurance rates, etc. on loans for proper disclosure on promissory notes.c. Demonstrates commitment to excellence when receiving, reviewing, and processing related paperwork and refers all loan applications to Loan Officer. Follows up on paperwork to ensure its completeness and accuracy.d. Demonstrates commitment to excellence by disbursing loans promptly and accurately.e. Demonstrates commitment to excellence by closing loan applications in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.f.
