Job Description:MUST HAVEBachelor degree in Electrical engineering1-3 yrs + Software manual equipment testing (HVAC testing exp a definite plus)Experience MS Office SuiteExcellent communication skills (verbal & written)

NICE TO HAVEBachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplineIdeal candidate is someone who has some HVAC experience but HM will also consider new graduates or interns from HVAC companies. Some experience in Python, have a Linux background and a understanding automated test framework.Additional information:

• What percentage of this role will be manual testing verses automated testing? Initially 75% manual testing and 25% automating. We would like this percentage to increase over time on the automation side where after 9 months it would be more like 75% automation and 25% manual testing.

• Is there flexibility if candidate is primarily experienced in manual testing vs automated however wanting to obtain experience within automated testing? There is flexibility. Ideally, having someone come in experienced in manual testing is ideal and automated testing can be potentially learned on the fly.• Is previous lab environment experience a requirement or a plus? It is a plus especially testing in an HVAC environment. I wouldn’t consider it a show stopper.• Is there any opportunity to work remotely/hybrid schedule for non-local candidates? There is. Initially we would ask the person come in the majority of the first 3 months. The lab is located in Tyler Texas. After the individual becomes more familiar with the application and tools I think the individual could work remote 40% of the time.

- In regards to the JD: “HM will also consider new graduates or interns from HAVC companies.”• Will HM only consider new grads/interns who have HVAC experience from past projects/internships or will entry level candidates who do not have HVAC experience be considered? Entry level candidates who do not have HVAC experience would be considered.

-In regards to the JD: “HM noted resource needs some experience in Python.”• Is hiring manager open to candidates that have Python experience earlier in their career, however not used recently? Absolutely ok with individual having python experience earlier in their career. This isn’t a hard skill to pick back up if you have used it before in our opinion.
