Polk Production Technologies, Inc. is looking to hire a PSV Technician to work in the Eagle Ford area. Applicants must have experience conducting PSV safety checks in a field environment. Candidates will be responsible for installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection and replacement of safety relief valves and control valves in accordance with company standards. Must demonstrate sound judgement with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are identified. Will be expected to effectively communicate with all levels of management, customers, and other employees. Must ensure all diagnostic testing and repair reports are in compliance with company standards.
Must have 3-5 years' experience conducting PSV safety checks in the oil and gas field environment. Control Valve Manufacturers training courses or certifications a plus. Applicants must have:
A valid driver's license and a good driving record
Must pass a drug screen and background check
Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed
