SERVPRO of Greater Waco is continuing to grow, and we are searching for a talented Reconstruction Manager/Estimator to join our team.
At SERVPRO of Greater Waco, our services primarily include water restoration, fire damage, smoke damage mitigation, mold remediation, and bio-hazard cleanup; for both residential and commercial reconstruction.
The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for successfully managing reconstruction projects. They are responsible for ensuring a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, and everyone involved in the reconstruction process.
Job Duties and Responsibilities - Project Manager/Estimator
1. Project Initiation:
a. Inspect, evaluate, and close potential projects.
b. Educate customers on rebuild process.
c. Provide frequent project updates to customers and clients.
2. Project Planning
a. Identify and document project scope of work.
b. Prepare and review estimates.
c. Obtain customer and client agreement on scope and estimate.
d. Review budgets for subcontractors and material supplies.
3. Project Execution
a. Create a project schedule and timeline, with subcontractors and material
b. Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers.
c. Negotiate terms and set expectations that all work performed complies with the
plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
d. Perform frequent onsite walk throughs to evaluate job performance.
4. Customer Satisfaction
a. Responsible for customer service and management of the customer experience.
b. Perform final walk-through with the customer.
c. Secure a signed certificate of satisfaction from the customer.
d. Manage all warranty activities.
Skills & Qualifications - Project Manager/Estimator
-Superb customer service track record
-Effective written and oral communication
-Intermediate math skills
-Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred
-Proficient with writing estimates in Xactimate Software.
-Works well under pressure
-Ability to solve problems and make independent decisions
-Team-player with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and build relationships with team members, trades, and customer.
