Description: Job Title: Inventory Management Support CJob Code: IMSC Job Location: Waco, TXL3Harris is actively seeking a Inventory Management Support C that will be responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment.
Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Ensures materials are protected against damage during transport to the intended destination.
Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements for materials being moved across the site.
Prepares and maintains records of products being moved across the site.
Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against applicable documents such as removal tags, routing tags, and goods issue documents.
Verifies part number, quantity, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification.
Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
Physical Capabilities
This position required to comply with all safety requirements and will access tight fit areas of aircraft
Must be able to work off of elevated platforms, ladders and on top of aircraft
Ideal candidate will have experience and work comfortably in a production floor environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. May be a resource to other employees in areas of proficiency.

Education & Experience
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 1 year of prior related experience.
