Big Creek Construction, a road and bridge company, is looking to hire a Trackhoe Operator in the Temple, Belton, Gatesville area
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inspect equipment/machinery for safe day-to-day operation and for general maintenance needs
Operate track hoe to excavate, move and grade earth to specified grade/level
Adjusts control wheels, handles and depresses pedals to drive machinery and control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers and swing booms
Attention to safety, communication, stamina, accuracy, teamwork and time management. Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisor, and the general public at all times
Willing to travel and work away from home when required
Report to work at the designated work start time
Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold
Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA
Pass a pre-employment "Fit for Work" physical
Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
