Job Description:
We are looking for a talented person to join our eCommerce Sales team. This remote position will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a great customer experience throughout the online shopping, purchasing and order fulfillment process.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong customer service experience coupled with proven sales success in a big-ticket setting. This individual will also have an appreciation for the culture of premium furniture and a desire to learn and develop in a fast-paced selling environment. We are looking for Sales Designers that are clearly driven, independent workers and especially suited to provide only the highest level of customer experience and sales ingenuity.
Responsibilities:
Sales and support through phone, email (crm tools) and chat
Take a solution oriented approach to inquiries, assist in placing orders, and offer additional products to fit the customer needs
Advocating & Educating customers on the unique Custom Furniture Design products & services
Responding quickly and efficiently to all customer emails including follow up to ensure needs were met
Calling and emailing potential leads
Interfacing with internal teams to ensure customer needs are effectively met
Requirements:
3 years in sales and/or combined customer service experience; preferably in a big-ticket retail environment
A passion for the home furnishings / interior design space and ensuring an outstanding customer experience
Experience working in a fast paced sales environment
Must be available for flexible weekday / weekend schedules
Very good computer skills as our entire business is online based (ability to learn new systems is a must)
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and desire to continuously improve.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly adept at problem solving
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly base rate plus commissions
Full-time, non-exempt position
