LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
WACO, TX
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 5pm
Project Description:
Duties to include testing wet and physical chemistry testing of raw materials, In-process bulks, and finished products according to company and proprietary procedures.
Preparation and analysis of sample and standard solutions, maintaining laboratory notebook and testing documentation, compliance with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical field.
Will be involved in laboratory investigations as required.
Will be working under a team leader but may provide direction to more junior analysts as skill are developed.
Required Skills:
Experience not required, education level should be bachelor's degree in a science field.
This is an entry level position, so there is no requirement for advanced skills, as they will be involved in in-depth on the job training.
Ability to multi-task, self-motivate, and problem solve are desirable.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials weighing up to 30 - 45 pounds, vision to monitor and moderate to loud noise levels.
Incumbents may be exposed to or work with toxic materials, toxic gases, Electrical hazards, dangerous tools and equipment.
Work is performed in Laboratory environments.
They will be required to pass a vision acuity and color blindness exam, which will be provided by Client after starting.
This 6+ month position starts ASAP.
