Big Creek Construction, Ltd, is seeking a Full Time (Day Shift) JANITOR/CUSTODIAN to take care of our buildings and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
Gather and empty trash
Service, clean, and supply restrooms
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Check electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Make adjustments and minor repairs
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
Order supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
Other jobs as assigned
Requirements: confidentiality, 2+ years working experience as a janitor/custodian, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets, Integrity and Ability to work Independently
