Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic
The hours of the position vary but typically are Monday- Friday - 6 AM - 5 PM and from Saturday - 7 AM - 12 Noon. Sometimes there are calls that require longer hours and on the weekends. This job requires a lot of travel-75% of the time you will be on the road.
Job Description-
This position is responsible for providing high quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop and field environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Qualifications-
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, electrical issues and repairs.
experience of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc.
Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with high energy level.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Must have own tools.

MUST HAVE CDL
