This position will be part of DaRT - Sales, Services and Marketing Technolog9 (SSMT) building and managing Schwab Representative facing technologies. The DaRT-SSMT Business System Analysts are dedicated to collaboratively understanding business needs and guiding them into sound technical solutions that are fit for purpose. They improve delivery outcomes through cross-functional cooperation and improvement of their development lifecycle methods. Business Systems Analysts are responsible for understanding and translating the needs of the business with the use of technology. They ensure their deliverables are aligned with business need and requirements, provide advice, and work cross-functionally with the project teams. Experience leading different project roles is beneficial for success in this role. They possess strong inter-personal communication skills and time management skills with a strong ability to communicate and work well with others. They possess strong analytical skills and the ability to produce efficient artifacts, solutions, and protocols to meet the objectives through Agile methodologies. Measurement criteria include:
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver tactical and long-term solutions to maximize the business value.
  • Work with Product Owners to manage the business and stakeholder expectations within the defined program scope, vision and release.
  • Provide objectives for development scrum team prioritization of features, user stories for iteration planning.
  • Collaboratively design for a solution architecture which meets the program objectives and business needs.
  • Facilitate functional design for release planning objectives and vision with multiple scrum teams & stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders to facilitate the vision, release planning, features, user stories and overall program.
  • Collaboration, development and management of functional features, user stories, use cases, and supporting artifacts to drive a business and technology solution.
  • Design and the development of activity diagrams, context diagrams, intersystem dependency diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
  • Familiarity of the design and development of a use cases and UML.
  • Comprehensive experience with writing technical specifications for Web Services and API technologies.
  • Integration of cloud services with internal applications and/or databases, including but not limited to integration layers and security layers.
  • Development and support of test plans and user acceptance criteria for feature, user story and functional delivery.
  • Support development on the activities needed to execute the business vision and goals for a defined release.
  • Facilitate and Implement change control process for impact analysis to scope, budget, and release timelines.
  • Ability to document and facilitate dependencies and dependency management
  • Provide guidance and drive Agile practices with our product owners and Scrum teams including the maintenance and prioritization of our backlog

What you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university OR years of experience met
  • 8+ years of business systems analysis experience
  • 8+ years of Salesforce ecosystem experience with emphasis on Marketing Cloud
  • Detailed understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Strong understanding of inter-relationships of Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud
  • Backend knowledge of data structure, data modeling, data integration into and out of Salesforce
  • Comprehensive understanding of Web Services and API technologies - data Integration in/out of Salesforce
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP services
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into detailed technical requirements with supporting artifacts
  • Ability to develop supporting documentation such as use cases, activity, sequence, and context diagrams
  • Comprehensive analytical skills and ability to multi-task to perform multiple complex tasks
  • Operate with little oversight on day-to-day work with general direction on assignments
  • Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to developing as is and to be processes
  • Positive attitude, passion, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and professional ethics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to balance multiple simultaneous projects
  • Experience working in an Agile environment for technologies
  • Prior Financial Industry/Brokerage experience preferred (nice to have)
  • Salesforce Admin Certification - would be nice
