DB2 DBA

Westlake, TX/ Durham, NC/ Boston, MA/ Merrimack, NH/ Jersey City, NJ/ Smithfield, RI / Covington, KY (Hybrid – 1 week onsite per month)

12+ Months

Min pays rate $60/hr on W2

Must Have:
  • DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment
  • Database admin, maintenance of DB objects, on call every few months, support, scheduling jobs, mostly support, reviewing queries and SQLs, any systems programming expertise or experience eis welcome.
  • Expertise in distributed technologies including in cloud such as Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
  • Expertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, EBS, CloudWatch, DMS etc

The Skills You Bring
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large, sophisticated Database Environment
  • Database Design
  • Extensive Experience in SQL, REXX, JCL, COBOL
  • Experience in Qrep and IIDR replication products
  • Working knowledge of CA Database Tools
  • Expertise in distributed technologies including in cloud such as Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
  • Expertise in CI/CD utilities such as TerraForm and Jenkins Core technologies.
  • Expertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, SSO, KMS/CMK,PG, PHZ,VPC, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, Lambda, S3, EBS, CloudWatch, DMS, etc.
