For a financial client we need Java Technical Lead. This position is based in Westlake, TX. We are Primarily looking for W2 Candidates and not looking for Third Party Candidates. The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Minimum 7 years of experience in information technology, with experience leading all aspects of Development teams
- Extensive experience in the technology stack Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular
- Extensive experience working with Infrastructure as Code (AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Azure ARM templates)
- Deep experience in troubleshooting RESTful Web Services with Java technologies
- Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a growth demeanor and ability to lead and mentor less experienced associates in problem solving discussions
- Demonstrated experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members and partners
- Proven ability to collaborate and provide technical leadership with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Solid experience in architectural patterns, micro-services, messaging/event driven frameworks and enterprise databases in an agile environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to tackle issues by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience, and judgment
- Strong experience in CI/CD practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and work on production issues, Splunk and Datadog tools
- GIT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, Terraform cloud experience preferred
- AWS Certification is a plus
- Experience in agile methodology preferred
