For a financial client we need Principal Platform Engineer. This position is based in Westlake, TX or New Jersey ,NJ or Smithfield, RI or Durham, NC OR Dallas, TX. We are Primarily looking for W2 Candidates and not looking for Third Party Candidates. The Role PI Platform Security is focused on building foundational security capabilities that serve our customers and our applications. To enable our application teams to securely build at scale, we focus on cross-cutting security applications, platforms, and tooling that enable us to bring a security mentality into our everyday operations.

- Mentor and grow with the PI Platform Security team.
- Give to Fidelity's next generation of digital capabilities.
- Build tooling and platforms used by many Fidelity applications and developers.
- 7+ years of programming experience with Java.
- Experience with policy-as-code concepts.
- Experience building enterprise software.
- Experience building modern APIs and microservices, using frameworks such as Dropwizard and Jetty.
- Experience working with developer and CI/CD tooling such as JenkinsCore and Stash
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with tools such as JIRA.
- Native Cloud security tools and services such as AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager.
- Policy control frameworks such as OPA or XACML.
- Identity and Access controls
- Collaborating with platform engineers on security standard methodologies.
- Building out security tooling and services.
- Passion for cybersecurity.
