- Responsible for the overall Operations of Windows 2003,2008,2012 ,2016 and 2019 servers
- Extensive troubleshooting skills on Windows OS related issue and performance issue
- Good knowledge on Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Terminal services and Microsoft Windows Failover Cluster
- Hands on experience administering HP C 7000 chassis, rack and blade server generation 1 to latest.
- Experience with Monitors daily operation of Windows servers (e.g. space usage, CPU, memory)
- Recommend and install software upgrades, patches, and firmware upgrades as needed for hardware software as well as OS.
- Works closely with Engineering team, network team, storage team, application teams and business owners to provide assistance, support, and trouble shooting.
- Monitors systems performance issues and addresses problems in a prompt and efficient manner
- Evaluate current environment and recommend future technical direction to enhance
- Install, configure and maintain Disaster recovery solution.
- Experience with NetBackup, Blade Logic, ServiceNow, Big Panda, and Hitachi storage frames will be added advantage
- Knowledge on Nutanix Hardware will be added advantage.
- Knowledge on VxRail, Powerflex will be added advantage
- Should have 3-5 team member team handling experience.
- The Profile needs to have real time experience on windows server 2003 to 2019.
- Things like file share migration, DFS , day to day windows operating system work like reviewing logs, application related issues, troubleshooting share access, permissions (ACL or NTFS) ESX.
- On VMware knowledge of trouble shooting ESX hosts( getting dump for logs files), daily monitor and maintain ESX hosts and the VM's in the environment.
- Good communication skills and a good team player.
