- Single point of contact for key deliverables from the Performance & Quality Engineering team for a critical scalability program
- Should ideally have 10+ years’ experience in Performance Engineering & Performance Testing and 2 to 4 years in a Performance Architect role
- Experience working in fast paced, agile environments and driving Performance Test Strategy (including defining Scope, Application Landscape analysis, Test Data Generation, Performance Monitoring) for complex and highly scalable systems
- Expertise in performance testing tools like Jmeter, Loadrunner, Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamic
- Excellent communication skills – comfortable talking to senior technical and managerial stakeholders to understand requirements and articulate the performance strategy
- Proven Analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively prioritize & execute tasks in a high-pressured environment
- Experience leading a teams of performance engineers directly or in a matrixed model to drive organizational performance and scalability goals
- Experience in creating performance test plans, test data, SLAs, analysis reports
- Expertise in frontend, backend or API and Batch performance testing
- Ability to drive Proof of Concepts and make toolset and framework recommendations based on application patterns, such as – Load Runner, Jmeter, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk etc
- Experience in tool setup, performance scripting, dashboard integration and shifting performance testing into CI/CD pipeline(preferably Bamboo)
- Collaboration with application architects, business and technical SME’s to define and test application performance SLA’s and KPI’s
- Expertise in Performance tuning - Application Level, Infra level and DB level.
- Understanding of Infrastructure Scalability – designing environments to align to performance testing requirements
- Experience with one or more coding language (JAVA, etc) with some Development background will be an advantage
