RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Administrator in Draper, UT.
Responsibilities: Install, support, and manage the hardware/software/cabling/network components Responds to and coordinates solutions for component failures and complex technical problems in all of these areas to deliver sound and stable network infrastructure Troubleshoot, diagnose, make adjustments, repairs and perform upgrades to local area network equipment, wide area network equipment and wireless network equipment Installs parts, equipment, lines, hardware or software, etc.; troubleshoots and makes adjustments to optimize initial performance Communicates and coordinates directly with users and vendors in branch light ups, relocations, and closures Explaining technical aspects of data communications to Branch Managers and Branch employees Collaborates with various internal and external personnel to support the Communications Network of Corporate Home Office and Nationwide branch locations To provide resolutions while taking schedules and deadlines into considerationREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree preferred All employees in the ITS Network Administrator 1 role are required within a year of hire to obtain the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification; Upon successful passing of the CCNA exam, company will reimburse testing fees and some if not all exam preparatory costs 2-3 years of experience in IT or related field with either: A two year college degree; Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school; Completion of a specialized and extensive in house training or apprenticeship program 6 months-2 years of experience in IT or related field with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related fieldKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
